CHRISTMAS ORDERS – FROM 1ST DECEMBER – 31ST DECEMBER 2020
- Orders within Australia are sent via Australia post and will be delivered within their time frames. International postage will be organised as required. We are unable to guarantee delivery date, please ensure you allow sufficient postage time for your order to arrive prior to Christmas. When your order has been finalised, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number, allowing you to monitor progress of your order via the Australia Post website. Australia Post Christmas Lodgement Dates
Australia Post are recommending all items are lodged by the following dates for delivery within Australia by Christmas.
Regular Parcel Post – Saturday 12 December 2020
Express Post – Saturday 19 December 2020
All orders will be shipped from Donohues, 230 Charters Towers Road, Hermit Park Qld 4812.
SHIPPING (please refer to notes regarding Christmas orders for all orders placed between 1st December – 31st December)
Flat rate freight on all domestic orders, with the exception of hats and boots.
International orders will be quoted a freight price at the time of checkout, which is generated by our Australia Post website module. If there is a discrepancy in any freight quoted during the order process we will contact you to verify prior to the order being dispatched, this may include extra charges if you have not been quoted accurately.
Orders are delivered throughout Australia via Australia Post, within their standard time frames. You will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number, allowing you to monitor progress of your order via the Australia Post website. All orders will require signature upon delivery.

Keep in mind we endeavour to ship orders same day if received before 12 noon, otherwise it will be next business day. Donohues trades Monday to Saturday, however, shipping cannot be done on weekends or public holidays.
During December we ask that you allow an extra 1-2 days for orders to be processed, particularly as we get closer to Christmas. If you require your order delivered by a specific date, please include this information with your order so we can do our best to guarantee a timely delivery.
Once your order has been processed and dispatched it is in the hands of the freight company. Any delays caused by the delivery company are outside our control and Donohues does not accept responsibility for any delays.
Shipping timeframes are provided by our freight provider and must be considered as a guide only, not a guarantee.
If your order does not arrive within the expected timeframe and you have followed up using your tracking information, please contact us and we will investigate further.
In the case where Authority to Leave (no signature on delivery) is chosen by the customer and delivery is shown as complete by our carrier, Donohues and the Shipping Carrier are removed of all responsibility, as the customer voluntarily selected a non-secure delivery method.
Credit card fraud is illegal and we are diligent in our website practices to avoid this occurring. If a transaction is suspicious we reserve the right to contact the cardholder to ensure the appropriate authorisation is provided on the transaction before shipping.
If we cannot gain the required authority we reserve the right to cancel the transaction and report it to the relevant authorities.
If your order has been flagged for verification or authorisation, dispatch will be delayed until the verification has been provided. Delivery timeframes will be affected by this process and we accept no responsibility for any delay.
